Advocare is a free and independent advocacy service for seniors and their families. It is a confidential service for those who may need assistance in navigating & obtaining access to necessary health & community services. Advocare can source out the appropriate contacts for clients & where clients are unable to speak for themselves, an Advocare advocate will speak on their behalf, helping them gain access to appropriate information and inform them of their options.

Provides community education regarding abuse and neglect of seniors. Information and referral available.

The Legal Information and Advocacy for Seniors program, funded by the Law Foundation of BC, provides information, referrals and resources, summary advice, and advocacy. Call Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, to speak with the Legal Information Counsellor.
