L'Chaim Adult Day Centre

is a therapeutic day centre for the home-bound elderly. Services provided include kosher home-style meals and snacks, monitoring of medical conditions, a wide range of therapeutic and recreational activities, multilingual staff, and respite for caregivers. All our services are provided in a warm, respectful and joyous environment.

Jewish programming is central at L'Chaim. We celebrate all the Jewish holidays including a weekly Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday afternoons. L'Chaim clients pay a nominal amount for their food and supplies each day and for transportation via HandyDART.

Participation is arranged through the local Community Health Centre. Since L'Chaim provides an intense level of service, we can't accommodate drop-ins.  L'Chaim is open Monday and Wednesday from 9am - 3pm and Fridayfrom 9am - 2pm.

Richmond L'Chaim operates Thursdays 10am - 2pm at Courtyard Gardens in Richmond with a full therapeutic program including a hot kosher lunch.
