Come Share has been a life saver for both of us. You have been able to  balance a social /family feeling with things that exercise the mind and body. Keep up the good work.  Barbara

 

My husband has attended Come Share since 2005. It means a lot to him to attend the day centre, and have the independence of a "day out" with friends that he has met there. He socializes with others who have similar disablilites, and receives the kind support of the staff. In his own words "Friday is the best day of the week!"

In addition, it has provided me with 6 hours a week when I can do household errands or shopping, and have no concerns about his welfare -- I know that the staff at Come Share are there to assist him.  Linda

 

 

 

I was not aware before that all this help was available to brighten up lives and stir people to join with others using whatever abilites they possessed. The staff were fantastically caring and helpful. What a boon this program is to the caregivers at home!  Phyllis Jan 2007

 

My personal benefit from this program is that I am able to communicate on a larger base with other seniors my age, also I am able to be involved in all the other programs they have planned for us, and to enjoy the time spent with friends. ...My family knows that Come Share is providing such a service where I am safe, and cared for.  I.E.

 

This is a wonderful program. Not only did my father enjoy his time at Come Share, it also gave my mother a days respite from taking care of him. Well done!!  Edith

This program was excellent as a bridge for my mother to get used to group programs. She learned exercises (which she refused to do for 2 years before at the hospital) .... the staff were encourging and gave praise which meant so much to my mother. Rosemary

Dad always loved going to Come Share, he always had a story to tell us about his day there. He especially loved the dancing, the dress-up days , the animals, the baking, story telling.
